EFFV has partnered with a young and dynamic UK-domiciled, plant-based, alternative protein company in the fermentation space, Plant Power.

The company currently commercializes tempeh, a plant-based, alternative protein from fermented soya beans that is sustainable and GM free, in the UK, Ireland and the UAE. With 2 years of commercial sales in its home market, selling through well established retailers like Sainsbury’s (present in 400+ stores nationwide), on-line channels and other consumer outlets, Plant Power is on a strong growth track.

The company’s mission is to make tempeh mainstream in Europe and beyond through a variety of high-quality innovative products, strong NPD focus and long-term partnerships with regional and global retailers and distributors.

We are in discussions to take a significant equity stake in Plant Power.
